We have recently formed a partnership with the local Rotary Club, who want to promote their Books4Home scheme. So far, the scheme has given over 100,000 children across Staffordshire, Shropshire and parts of the West Midlands a book of their own to take home, read and keep forever. The scheme aims to empower children to develop their love of reading and encourage children to share a love of reading with their families. All children at Whitehall Junior School will be receiving a 'Golden Ticket' at some point throughout  this year, which will enable them to select a book of their choice to take home. The children can keep the book at home if they love it or we will have a Rotary book swap within school if they wish to return it.
