Inclusive Environment 

At Whitehall Junior School, we offer an inclusive environment with a strong focus on Quality First Teaching. We do this by adapting work to help children access what is being taught. We also offer a range of resources to support learning. These include things such as:

•  A 'Now and Next Board' or a visual timeline to help children understand the routine of the day or to break tasks down into smaller steps.
• Ear defenders - to help children filter out noise if it becomes too loud. 
• Visual Steps 2 Success to help remind children of what they can do if they are finding something challenging.
• Visual prompts to help remind children of classroom rules and expectations such as 'keep my hands and feet to myself'
