At Whitehall we encourage and want to develop a love of reading for all children. Everyday, the children are able to read a book of their choice during our Reading for Pleasure session. Each week your child will be heard read by their class teacher and their diaries will be completed. From discussions with the children, and looking through their reading diaries, any child who is showcasing a 'Passion' for reading will be nominated for a Reading for Pleasure Award and a Hot Chocolate with Mrs Collins.
