Lunchtime and Playtime Arrangements
Please read the following information carefully.
School Meals
- Children may have a school dinner or bring a packed lunch.
- School dinners cost £2.30 per day (£11.50 per week).
- We are a Halal-certified school, and vegetarian options are available.
- If your child is entitled to Free School Meals (FSM), please provide the school with confirmation from the local authority.
Booking Meals
- All school meals must be booked and paid for through Arbor.
- If a meal is not booked, your child will be offered a sandwich.
- Children can only receive the meal option that has been booked.
Packed Lunches
- Packed lunches should be brought in a clearly labelled lunchbox.
- Please ensure lunchboxes are taken home each day.
- For hygiene reasons, uncollected lunchboxes left in school for an extended period may be disposed of.
Healthy Snacks
- Children are welcome to bring a healthy snack for morning break, such as:
- Fresh fruit
- Vegetable sticks
- Fruit bars
Late Collection
- A late collection charge will apply if parents/carers are late collecting their child.
Personal Belongings
Children should not bring the following items into school:
- Toys or games
- Mobile phones
- Playing cards
- Expensive personal items
- Chewing gum or bubble gum
Please note that the school cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged personal items.
Free School Meals
If you believe your child may be eligible for Free School Meals, we encourage you to apply, even if they do not wish to have school dinners, as this helps the school access additional funding to support pupils.
