Homework Expectations

Here are the expectations for homework in Year 4.

The 'What' and 'When'

What will homework include? Homework will usually consist of one or more of the following:
- Spellings: A new list of words to learn each week. There will be a spelling test each Monday and spellings will be given out the previous Monday. There will also be a weekly spelling activity to complete on Purplemash before the spelling test.
- Times Tables: Practising multiplication and division facts to improve speed and recall on TTRS (daily for 15 minutes).
- Reading: Daily reading of their school reading book (15 minutes).
