The children at Whitehall Junior School are well behaved, polite and hard working. To reward these qualities, from September 2022, we have amended our school values. Our Class Dojo Reward System will now be based on the following values.

Determination- determination is about the journey you go on to push yourself and achieve your dreams. Have the mental strength and self-disciple to overcome obstacles, commit to your goals and keep working every day to become the very best you can be. 

Honesty- honesty with others and with yourself. Having the courage to do the right thing and what you know is right. Let the best person win! Always tell the truth and face the consequences of your actions with integrity. 

Respect- respect for yourself, teachers, members of staff and your peers. Treating other politely and with understanding. 

Passion- giving 100%. Putting your heart and soul into every activity and never giving up. 

Teamwork- treating everyone equally, supporting each other to achieve the very best you can. Celebrate other's successes and be a positive classmate. 

Self-belief- you have got to be believe to achieve. Have the self-belief and confidence to succeed and achieve your very best! 

The children are in a 'House'- We have Oz, Narina, Wonderland and Hogwarts. They can earn Dojo's for their 'House' by demonstrating one of the school values. The winning 'House' at the end of a term will receive a very special 'House' treat. 

Each week, the class teacher will choose a child, who has stood out for the focused school value of the week- this child will receive the Star Student Certificate. They will also get an extra treat. The Star Student Certificates will follow the pattern of: Determination, Honesty, Respect, Passion, Teamwork, Self-belief.
